FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

New Beast Mode Details for Gears of War 3

Posted on Friday, June 24 @ 15:44:46 Eastern by

If you're anxiously awaiting Gears of War 3's release in September, you'll probably be unhappy to hear about all of the different monsters you'll be able to control in the game's Beast Mode. The wait will just get that much harder! While Horde Mode 2.0 will continue to pit human against soft, fuzzy animals creatures of nightmarish brutality, Beast Mode turns all of that on its head and puts you in the shoes claws of a Ticker and more. Here's the run down on each creature you'll get to control:

First Tier beasts include the Wild Ticker, Ticker, Wretch, Savage Drone, and Butcher.

Second Tier beasts include Kantus, Bloodmount, and Mauler.

Third Tier beasts include Giant Serapede, Savage Corpser, Savage Grenadier, and Boomer.

Fourth and Final Tier beasts include Berserker, Armored Kantus, and Savage Boomer.
