New Diablo III Players Allowed Beyond Act 1

Posted on Thursday, June 28 @ 11:26:43 Eastern by Keri_Honea

Good news, new Diablo III players! You're no longer restricted to Act 1 of the game for the first three days! Thanks to a new patch that fixes several issues, this limitation has been lifted.

However, as Blizzard's forum explains, you still have other temporary restrictions:
  • No public game access for unverified digital purchasers;
  • No auction house access (real money or gold) for unverified digital purchasers;
  • Unverified digital purchasers cannot trade items or drop items for other players;
  • Unverified digital purchasers are not able to chat in any public or game channels;
  • Unverified digital purchasers cannot attach a custom message to friend requests, but they can send/accept friend requests and play with their friends; and
  • Global Play is not available for unverified digital purchasers.
These restrictions only last for 72 hours until Blizzard can verify your credit card info. If you don't want this wait, then I'd go buy the disc-based version.

    Since I got it thru WoW it was kinda free so I cant complain too much. As a hoarder tho 3 inventory tabs is not enough to contain my goodies... I see room for more tabs now gimme gimme.

    I have a toon for all 5 classes so the highest lvl one drops gear for the lower ones and their followers in the inventory, they are getting full.
