Rockstar Game is doing pretty well for not revealing too much. I hope this doesn't become overhyped.

PLEASE PLEASE for the love of Christ do away with some of the realism. If you tell me the protaganist is flying a plane because he is an ex airforce pilot now triathlete, race car driving criminal...I will ***** slap Rockstar. Give me aliens, give me jets, and give me some fake **** that makes absolutley no sense or to the third street I shall go. Sorry but GTAIV got old so damn quick on console, regardless of how pretty it was it simply seemed underwhelming from my perspective so beautiful yet so flawed by realism

I like for the main story to be "realistic" but for side quests and whatnot I do enjoy the more "out there" missions.

Uhhh, isn't that why they made Saints Row? It sounds like that might be the game for you. I like the (somewhat) realistic nature of GTA. If I wanted to run around naked crapping on the sidewalk I'd play Saints Row.

Did you ever play any of the GTA games prior to 4? Do you know the origins of Saint's Row? The game was never based on realism which is why there is such a divided feeling about GTA 4. The game looks good but it lost one of the defining characteristics of the series which was the overtop stuff. You go from rocket packs and UFOs in San Andreas to a focus on a solid story and visuals focused on reality. I am not saying the game was deemed great by many but there was a significant portion of the fan base that was let down by the change in direction.

I know I am likely alone in this opinion, and will get many downvotes, but I think the series has been going downhill, fun-wise, since Vice City.

Hot damn cant wait for the pc version. dx11 and all its goodness(max payne 3 was done in the same engine and was very well optimized while still using tessellation and other dx11 features.)

If Nintendo isn't pulling out all the stops to have this simultaneously launch on wiiU (even if it involves paying rockstar a lump sum due to the delay) then they are off their rocker.
