New Mass Effect Comic Series Homeworlds Coming In April

Posted on Friday, January 20 @ 11:23:35 Eastern by Keri_Honea
I will do my best to not fangirl all over this story, but I can't help but gush out my excitement that Dark Horse will be releasing another Mass Effect comic book series. It will release on April 25th, long after the release of Mass Effect 3 and just in time for diehard fans like me to be wanting more.

Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3's lead writer, Mac Walters, will be taking the helm of this comic book series as well. It's called Homeworld, and each book in the series will focus on a different character. The first issue is about James Vega, one of the new characters from Mass Effect 3

Here are the characters I would like the series to focus on as well: Wrex (because mine lived!), Tali, Mordin, Legion, Liara (as the Shadow Broker), Garrus, Kaidan, and Joker. So of course, I bet none of these characters will have their own comic books.

Homeworlds should still be great, with my suggestions or not. It's written by Mac Walters! How could it not?

It's funny how you answered your own question. How could it not be great? Because it's written by Mac Walters.

Mac is a good guy, but a terrible, terrible writer. He's gotten better, but his writing is still subpar. Although since it is going to be based on characters, and that's ALL Mac Walters knows how to do, it could still be decent.

I'd rather prefer they focused on Shepard and Kelly's relationship. I made sure my Shepard hooked up with Ms. Chambers, but only after dumping Thane once I got the Paramour Trophy.

(In case you weren't paying attention, I ran through the game as a FemShep)

I dunno how Garrus is going to be able to be in this one, he's been so damn busy with those calibrations of his...
