FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

New Plants Vs. Zombies 2 Trailer; Releasing July 18th

Posted on Monday, June 3 @ 11:57:18 Eastern by

PopCap recently confirmed that Plants Vs. Zombies 2 was due for a release this Summer. It was about time. As in, long overdue. And that's all I thought when I read the subtitle originally. But a new trailer released today shows that "It's About Time" has more meaning, as Crazy Dave sets his time machine to Ancient Egypt, in the year 6980.

On that same dial is the Wild West, and The Future—two more possible locations.

PopCap also confirmed that the game will release on July 18th, for free. But knowing it's an EA game, there's bound to be in-app microtransactions to support it.
