New Pokemon X & Y Footage Shows Off 3D Models And New Adversaires

Posted on Friday, July 12 @ 11:45:58 Eastern by

Pokémon X & Y are barreling towards the first international release the series has ever seen on October 12th, 2013, so The Pokémon Company released this fifth gameplay trailer to keep you frothing at the... beak... or something. Whatever Pokémon have for mouths.

Pay attention for the legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal, who've been detailed on the game's website. Xerneas can use Fairy Aura, which increases the strength of all Fairy-type moves, including your opponent's. Yveltal's Dark Aura does the same for Dark-type moves.

Fittingly, Xerneas is a member of the Life Pokémon species and Yveltal is, you guessed it, a member of the Destruction Pokémon species. Each of them way over 400 pounds, so be sure to rely on one of those slim-fit Pokéballs when you catch these two.
