New PS3 Model Might Have Been On Candid Camera

Posted on Friday, July 13 @ 17:00:10 Eastern by

A new PS3 hardware model has been photographed in the wild, as seen above. The picture comes from Anatel, a Brazilian telecommunications agency and shows a PS3 ribbed for your pleasure. There also seems to be some kind of sliding panel on top, suggesting a top-loading drive.

These images, which were caught by Technoblog and posted to their site, even go so far as to provide a model number and other technical label information. The latest PS3 model, the slim, is in the CECH-30xx series, just for reference.

Nothing is official yet, but we'll keep you informed.
