New Report Suggests That The Next Xbox Will In Fact Be Called Infinity

Posted on Thursday, May 9 @ 14:45:43 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

As we near the May 21st Xbox Reveal, rumors regarding Microsoft's next-gen console are spilling out onto the web at an increasingly rapid rate.

One of the most popular topics of discussion is the name of the next Xbox. Will it be Xbox Fusion? Xbox Infinity? Xbox Loop? Or simply just Xbox? There's reason to believe that the gaming device will in fact have a subtitle, and that subtitle is allegedly Infinity.

According to The International Business Times, “Sources related to development of the new Xbox have confirmed to IBTimes UK that the console… will be called Infinity.”

What do you think? Will Microsoft name its new gaming box after the famous Halo vessel pictured above? Let us know in the comments below.
