New Resident Evil 6 Details Eat Your Brains

Posted on Wednesday, February 15 @ 10:12:20 Eastern by

Do you absolutely have to know more about Resident Evil 6? Well do you? Woah, woah, OK jeez. I'm not teasing you. Capcom just sent over a very official looking document chock full of new details.

Details like the fact that Resident Evil 6 takes place in 2013, proving that the world will not end this year... although there's already been a zombie apocalypse so whatever. Chris Redfield will be heading to China, as previously stated, to explore a fictional coastal town called Lanshiang.

Leon is joined by Helena Harper, the women in the previously released trailer who admits her responsibility for the incident with the President. There's a third protagonist but Capcom is still playing coy with his name, stating only that he "is a mercenary currently engaged in a bloody conflict in Eastern Europe where reports confirm that B.O.W.s are increasingly being used. One day, he's told that he is the man to save the world. Whilst he doesn't understand the implications of this, he does immediately think how much money he can make from it."

Perhaps the final detail in the press release is the most telling:

Resident Evil 6 features an evolved control system allowing players to shoot whilst moving; slide; roll in any direction and to take cover along with the addition of an enhanced melee attack.

REVOLUTIONARY!

Im tired of these resident evil creatures that suddenly expand into weird shapes of muscle, sinew, and bones. I mean seriously, where are these monsters getting the protein requirements to synthesize that much new muscle in mere seconds. I can maybe understand a transformation but only into a similar sized creature.
