"New" Star Wars: Battlefront III Footage Emerges

Posted on Monday, May 6 @ 10:00:00 PST by Alex_Osborn

Star Wars: Battlefront III was canned back in 2008, but that hasn't stopped snippets of gameplay footage from popping up on the web over the past few years.

The latest bit of content comes from a Vimeo post by Blue_Monkey featuring a section of the alpha build that was created by Free Radical back in November of '08. Be sure to give it a look above.

In addition, PtoPOnline (via NeoGAF) posted a livestream of some gameplay, which you can check out right here.

While I admittedly was never a huge fan of the Battlefront series, I must confess that what Free Radical had been working on looks quite impressive. Are you bummed that this project will never see the light of day? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments below.
