New Syndicate Trailer Plays with New Tech

Posted on Thursday, December 15 @ 14:21:37 Eastern by

Judging purely on the way guys are getting killed and blood is getting splattered, I'd say you can definitely see Starbreeze's influence on the Syndicate universe. All that corporate espionage and new technology is getting a lesson is maiming and dismembering dudes with your bullets.

Regardless of that purely violent foray into the first-person shooter genre, Starbreeze and EA seem to be packing plenty of neat ideas into the game's tech and filters. "The Dataverse" might sound pretty corny, but as a gameplay mechanic it looks like it'll be just as useful as Batman's Detective Visor.

Syndicate is set for a February 21st release date on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
