LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

New Tony Hawk Game to Debut at VGAs

Posted on Wednesday, December 7 @ 09:38:06 Eastern by

Back in the early PSOne days, Tony Hawk Pro Skater games were something to behold. Then, games using his name started to become something you wanted to hold under water until it took its very last breath and died with two lungs full of H2O. Geez, that's a little harsh.

After a couple mega shitfests, Tony Hawk is ready to kickflip and ollie his way back into the hearts of gamers everywhere, when his new game makes a debut this Saturday. And although the birdman didn't explicitly say it'll debut on the VGAs, just like another has-been from the 90s, we believe that's where it's at.

"I'll be announcing the upcoming release of something new on Sat; the same day as the Spike Video Game Awards. Coincidence? I think not", Tony Hawk said on Twitter.

Two things: Please let there be no expensive board peripheral, and let Tony Hawk return to its glory days. Then I'll buy what he's selling.

There is no way Tony Hawk games will ever be as good as they were in the early days.

recently replayed the tony hawk franchise, and it turned to **** with underground. seriously, the first four are awesome because they were pretty simple in their upset. cool levels, no goofy story. so i'd definitely buy it if they kept that gameplay but just gave us a huge graphical update

Yeah the only skateboarding game I played recently was Skate 2. Ever since I read on GR about Tony Hawk: Ride, I pledged not to buy anymore Tony Hawk games (I never played Tony Hawk: Ride either).
