NFL Blitz Releases Today

Posted on Wednesday, January 4 @ 08:23:09 PST by

Today, Electronic Arts and EA Tiburon has released an HD version of NFL Blitz on XBLA for 1200 Points and PSN for $14.99. Watch the trailer above for a quick preview.

Not only does the game operate in high-definition at 60 frames per second, but it includes online game modes with online leaderboards, offering "fans the opportunity to battle rivals 7-on-7, fight their way through the Blitz Gauntlet, take over the online leaderboards in Blitz Battles, or create a true dream team by collecting player cards in Elite League". NFL Blitz has both single player and co-operative play.

As featured in the 2011 Spike VGA Awards, Baltimore Ravens' running back Ray Rice was voted as the cover athlete for the title.
