Nintendo Finally Looking Into Rechargeable Wiimote Battery Solution

Posted on Tuesday, April 9 @ 12:30:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
Nintendo's motion-based wand has been on the market for six years now, and we still have yet to see a first-party rechargeable battery pack from the company. Fortunately, that may change very soon, as a new survey, courtesy of GoNintendo, suggests that the Big N is seriously considering releasing one now.

Check out a screenshot of the survey below.

While the initiative is unforgivably late at this point, I'm sure many Nintendo fans would welcome a rechargeable solution, especially when considering how essential the device has proven to be for the Wii U.

Would you purchase one of these packs if Nintendo eventually releases it, or is it too late at this point? Let us know in the comments below.
