Nintendo Keeps Throwing Together 3DS Bundle Packs

Posted on Tuesday, October 11 @ 07:28:18 Eastern by Heath_Hindman
Fight coaches are often heard to shout, "punches in bunches". Certainly in its contest with PSP and soon, the Vita, for the title of Handheld Champion, Nintendo is throwing combinations that would make Mick proud. By now you've probably already heard of the Monster Hunter Tri-G system-plus-game combo that Nintendo and Capcom will be sending to market, but another upcoming hot bundle will see Konami joining the fun, shipping a pack that includes a variety of specially designed 3DS systems and New Love Plus. That one ships December 8th.

Bandai Namco is also ready to throw down, with a bundle of SD Gundam: G Generation 3D to ship on December 22nd. Upping the incentive, the publisher will be tossing in a limited edition Gundam Tri Age Augmented Reality card that features the Char Zack II Mobile Suit.

With all these cool system bundles constantly coming out in Japan -- let us not forget the Tales of Xillia and Ni no Kuni PS3 systems the Japanese can easily obtain -- I have to wonder, is there ever a good time to buy a console?

I never buy these gimmick combos, because I prefer a simple black color scheme to these limited edition designs. But I did buy my SNES with Donkey Kong Country bundied in with it and got a get deal on it to.

I think they are trying to get rid of their inventory by having different companies paint different **** on them and selling them. Are they prepping for a redesigned 3DS?

At this juncture, I won't consider a 3DS until next year.

By that time the whole color spectrum will be available.
Hell, they might even make a Skittles 3DS.

There might even be a 3DS lite that weighs 20% less and includes a right analog stick.
