Nintendo "Project Cafe" Supposed Controller Mockups Leaked

Posted on Thursday, April 21 @ 08:55:56 Eastern by

Rumors have been circulating all over the web regarding an HD successor to the Nintendo Wii, dubbed "Project Cafe". Sources close to the matter talk of new, industry-changing controllers that feature built-in screens that can stream content straight from the console itself. A new image has surfaced, which may show internal Nintendo mockups that are being sent to various game publishers.

The image appeared first appeared on 4chan sometime recently, but has since made its way to more cleanier reaches of the 'net. The image (below) appears to show not only the console itself, but the unique new controllers, which look like an Xbox 360 controller with a 4 inch screen in the middle.

There's no way to verify the legitimacy of the images, so they could just as easily be the real thing as they could be something someone made in their parent's basement (UghRochester, was it you?). Either way, we'll be there to see it unveiled in all its glory at this coming E3. Don't forget, you can join us at E3!
