No Multiplayer Naval Battles In Assassin's Creed IV

Posted on Monday, March 4 @ 11:03:01 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

While Ubisoft may be focusing far more on the sea with its latest installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise, don't get too excited about what that might mean for multiplayer, as there are no plans to introduce competitive-based ship battles with Black Flag.

GameRevolution got to check out the game (see our preview here) where we learned that ACIV won't feature friend-filled naval warfare, but instead stick to the tried-and-true "kill-or-be-killed" multiplayer fans are familiar with. However, you can expect new modes, characters, and the like to make their way into Ubisoft Annecy's new offering. And obviously, it will feature a pirate flair.

Are you psyched for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag? Let us know in the comments below.

No, I'm not caring at the moment for this game. I got two games I'm pretty excited this year for. The Last of Us and GTA: V

Kind of a bummer of no multiplayer naval battles.

I am really pumped for this game though. The Pirate Era is going to be a great time to explore and play around in, plus sailing the oceans and more foucs on naval combat is going to be great. I am even more excited about this one than AC3, and i was pumped and loved AC3.
