LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

NPD: Wii U Sales Continue To Underwhelm

Posted on Friday, March 15 @ 09:45:02 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

In case you didn't get the memo, the Wii U hasn't been doing so well as of late. The new year hasn't been particularly kind to Nintendo's tablet-centric console, as sales have been depressingly low.

According to the latest NPD data (via Gamasutra), the Wii U sold a measly 57,000 units in January and 64,000 the month after. Conversely, the Xbox 360 topped the hardware charts with 302,000 units sold, and that's a console that is now over seven years old!

Fortunately, LEGO City: Undercover looks to be quite good (read our review here), so perhaps this new Wii U-exclusive will help spur at least a few more sales. Seriously, where are all the games?!

I also will not be purchasing for Smash Bros. I had a Wii when Brawl was released, and didn't care enough about it to keep the console. I sold it to get a PS3.

Yea I wouldn't buy one for Smash Bros. Now if they do release a new Hi-Def Zelda that looks like that tech demo they showed sometime back, then they can take my money!!!

We'll have to wait until E3 to see how Nintendo plans to deliver on the software front, and they better be doing it soon with the new consoles arriving soon. Perhaps we might even see a price drop on the Wii U by the holiday season.

Be great if they did a price drop. I have wanted one but as of late I can't find a reason to drop $350 plus tax for one. Though that. ZombiU bundle is tempting.... But alas no purchase from me until more software is available.

Yeah, I played ZombiU for a bit in a store and almost bought a console for it. Thankfully I didn't, though, because I'd be *****in' up a storm about a lack of games right about now.

Well for me, no games i want, too expensive and a really small hard drive, even the deluxe, does not make a good combo.

I love Gamerevolution like I love my grandfather. You guys have so much enriching wisdom about video games and what's good and what isn't, and you don't waste any time letting me know how much of a waste it was that I made an impulsive decision on a regular basis (in this case, buying a Wii U since I missed Nintendo last generation) . Sometimes I wonder if his secret identity is administrating this site. If one of you admins swear at me in hungarian as a comment, I will know it is you, grandpa.
