Oddworld Abe's Oddysee HD Gets First Screenshot

Posted on Thursday, August 9 @ 11:04:36 Eastern by

The HD remake for Oddworld Abe's Oddysee was announced way back in January 2011 by UK studio Just Add Water, and it's only been now that the first screenshot has been released by way of Oddworld Inhabitants' Facebook page.

True to their word, at least by the looks of it, they have mainly upgrade the graphics to 3D but kept the 2D gameplay that made the title work and receive mainly high 8s what it was released for the PlayStation in 1997.

Ha. With all these posts about most influential game. It's WoW by the way. And everyone talking about a certain game is just a rehashing of an earlier game.
Limbo is just a rehashing of Oddworld. Ha.

So... what's wrong with the original Abe's that is available right now on Steam?

Is this a screenshot of the HD version? I do not see much of a difference to be honest.
