LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

One Of The PlayStation Vita's Best Games Comes To Steam

Posted on Monday, July 30 @ 09:52:43 Eastern by

One of my favorite games for the PlayStation Vita will be heading to the PC platform and Steam next month. Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack was a great value and a ton of fun when it launched on the Vita's downloadable service earlier this year.

Unfortunately, not everyone has a PlayStation Vita, but many people have PCs. The indie world-devouring platformer from DrinkBox Studios will be available on Steam starting August 15th. The move also comes with a bevy of updates, including:
  • Updated minigame levels, crafted specifically for PC.
  • Support for gamepad and/or keyboard-and-mouse controls.
  • New ultra-glorious high resolution art.
  • More hidden references and bad jokes.
Hey! I liked the jokes in Mutant Blobs Attack.

Was it supposed to be funny? There were some clever parts, and an all-around goofy style. But no overt attempt at humor, I didn't think.

Just a lot of goofiness. I agree that I didn't laugh out loud at any particular point. The bullet points are from the press release :-/

Honestly anything that makes fun of hipsters is alright by me.

I had a great time with this game. The humor is subtle and light, but it's better than being stale. Gameplay was really enjoyable. This is one of the Vita games I finished in one sitting, because I couldn't put it down.
