OnLive Offering Free Game System with Arkham City Preorder

Posted on Thursday, September 29 @ 13:46:18 Eastern by Josh_Laddin
Gamers are a fiercely loyal bunch, especially when it comes to their system of choice. But where does OnLive, the cloud gaming service, fit into the console war? Or console vs. PC debate, for that matter? OnLive knew from the beginning they'd have their work cut out for them to attract business away from the established powerhouses. Of course, with crap like the Deus Ex recall going on, they've gotten decent free publicity from their competitors.

But they're still pulling out all the stops with deals like this one to convince you to ditch your hard copies and go cloud. If you pre-order Batman: Arkham City through OnLive, you'll also get a free OnLive Game System thrown in. If you already have one, you can get a free game instead. The coupon codes for the free stuff will be emailed to you immediately upon pre-ordering. If you've ever been tempted to try OnLive out, this would be a golden opportunity to do so.

I would totally take advantage of this, but like most rural Americans, there isn't internet service fast enough to use OnLive available in my area. Death to America.....n internet companies!
