Persona Developers Hard At Work... On More Persona

Posted on Wednesday, August 8 @ 13:32:00 Eastern by

Of course they are! What did you think they'd be hard at work on? A new restaurant modeled after Tartarus?

Speaking with Famitsu (and translated by Andriasang), Atlus executive Katsura Hashino says that the team has submitted work and begun development of Persona 5. That's right, a numbered sequel! Will it be here on the PS3 and Xbox 360 or is Persona 5 aiming for release on next-generation consoles?

But that's not all! Hashino also says another collaborative project is in the works, but the announcement is still far out. Wild speculation! That's what comments are for.

I hope its on PS3 and 360. I would hate to have to buy a PS3 to play Persona but i probably would. I am gonna get a Vita just to play P4 The Golden. I also would rather have it sooner, than wait for next gen consoles and have to buy one of those too. I think they will probably put it on 360 if its on PS3 though, with Catherine and P4 Arena getting 360 releases.

To be honest. I know ill have people thumb downing me or whatnot, but I don't want another persona game I want another devil summoner, devil survivor, digital devil saga, smt,or really a brand new universe for the smt devs to play with . I love persona and all but I want something new or something that binds some of the universes together . As it stand only p4 only really binds different games together . That would be p3 and devil summoner.
