Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Phantasy Star Online 2 Heads West In 2013

Posted on Monday, July 9 @ 16:16:42 Eastern by

SEGA announced today that Phantasy Star Online 2, a free-to-play rebirth of the now classic Dreamcast MMO, will be headed west next year. The game is currently in beta in Japan and has been well-received, despite the to-be-expected bugs and pre-launch issues.

In the press release, SEGA VP of Digital Business Chris Olson said:

Phantasy Star Online was a revolutionary game when it was released, and we want to make sure that its successor in the series is every bit as ambitious. We look forward to introducing Phantasy Star Online 2's unique, easy-to-access multiplayer action to the rest of the world next year!

If you're really antsy and impatient, you can actually log on to the Japanese PSO2 experience right now. You'll just have to wade through a lot of foreign text and some impatient Japanese gamers.

I'm really hoping this is going to be as good as I remember PSO being. PSU pretty much sucked and the one on ds was alright but PSO was just amazing.

How similar are these to the old Sega games? In spirit, I know it's not 2D anymore hehe.

It's nothing like the old rpg games really. Gameplay wise at least. The stories and world are still there but the stories were never really that good I don't think. I never got into them at least.
