Pikachu-Themed 3DS XL Coming To North America

Posted on Thursday, March 14 @ 07:45:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

It looks like Pikachu may have finally zapped some sense into the decision makers over at Nintendo, as North American gamers have a new version of the 3DS XL to look forward to.

The vibrant yellow Pikachu version of Nintendo's handheld will arrive in the region on March 24th. The device will include a 4GB SD memory card, and will be priced at $199.99. Pokémon fans can now display their Pika pride proudly while gaming on the go. Just don't get beat up on the playground, kids.

If you pick up this new handheld and nab a copy of either Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity or Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, you'll be able to download one of the following games for free:
Don't forget to register before April 30th if you want in on the deal, though.
