PlayStation Vita Exclusive Soul Sacrifice Teaser Trailer

Posted on Tuesday, May 8 @ 08:04:00 Eastern by

Soul Sacrifice is a new PlayStation Vita exclusive being teased for a May 10th reveal in Japan. The game looks fucking badass—and might just be enough to get many to finally splurge on a PlayStation Vita... especially if the speculation is true.

Speculation is running wilder than Hulkamania in the '80s, so say your prayers and take your vitamins. Let me tell you something, Mean Gene... because of the 'Soul' name, and the similar fonts, Soul Sacrifice could be related to Demon's and Dark Souls. Watching the video, you will notice that the From Software logo is nowhere to be found. However, Sony Japan did indeed publish Demon's Souls in Japan before Atlus brought it over to the West.

We'll find out for sure what's going on in just two days. For now, this trailer is all you get. *Tears shirt in half*

I'm going to go with a Demon's Souls spin-off. Sony retained the rights to Demon's Souls when Namco Bandai picked up Dark Souls. Definitely going to play the **** out of this though.

So this means it is not being developed by From Software?

It's ok that Sony got the Demon's Souls name and all but, the developer is what made both games great in the first place.

We don't know for sure yet. From Software could be developing it.

I think they're just have the Soul in there to draw the connection to Demon's/Dark Souls. The eighth of a second they show what appears to be combat didn't look very Soulsish.
