Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

PlayStation Vita Moves 2.2 Million Units

Posted on Monday, August 20 @ 18:30:00 Eastern by

I really, really like the PlayStation Vita. It's one of my favorite devices. I tend to take it everywhere I go and play it any free second I have. In particular, one of my favorite features of the system is the way it can be put to sleep like my phone, all without losing my game state. The 3DS can do that too, but for some reason I get more from it with the Vita.

Stuff like that made the new Sony handheld an attractive deal to 2.2 million consumers. That's how many Vita units have been sold through since launch. That's just over 400,000 a month units since the worldwide launch in Japan.

This new total is less sold through than the 3DS in just its first few weeks on the market. It was about this far into the hardware's life that Nintendo 3DS dropped the price of the 3DS from $249.99 to $169.99. Are drastic steps ahead of the Vita?

I sure hope they don't cut the price too soon... I'm getting one next week!

    Added.
Mortal Kombat will probably be my first Vita game. I've been meaning to get it on PS3 for a long time and never got around to it (and I played the PS3 demo for two hours straight yesterday while watching - or rather listening to - an electoral debate... I needed to hit things. Hard :)
I already downloaded all the Vita demos that are available, I'll pick a second game once I've played them. It'll most likely be either Gravity Rush, Uncharted or Unit 13.
I'll also get a bunch of PSP games I missed after my PSP broke a couple of years ago. Dissidia, one of the Patapons, Resistance Retribution, etc.
God I can't wait for that payday to arrive.

I enjoyed Mortal Kombat on Vita VERY much. I got it during the Gamestock sale at Gamestop for 10 dollars brand new. Best 10 dollars on a game I ever spent. I am currently playing Gravity Rush, and beat Uncharted and Shinobido 2 already. I recommend all of them, especially if you are a Tenchu fan, you would love Shinobido 2.

I agree. I try to put all of my game icons on one screen, and I end up messing up where I want the icon to go, or messing up the order I currently have for icons. Hopefully the new 1.8 firmware will help as it supposedly will allow controlling items with the buttons on the Vita.
