Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Get Steelbook Cases for UK Pre-Orders

Posted on Thursday, August 28 @ 09:00:00 Eastern by ryanbates

In another case of “God we hope we get it,” Nintendo has announced that the United Kingdom has a chance to pick up some cool pre-order bonuses for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, including picking up on one of the newest trends in pre-order goodies – steelbook cases.

The limited editions, cased in steelbook covers, feature as expected the primal versions of Groudon (on Omega Ruby, above) or Kyogre (on Alpha Sapphire, below) with the two facing off in battle on the inside. Pre-orderers will also receive a limited edition miniature of their preferred Pokemon.

Pre-orders are being taken now at the Nintendo UK store, or at GAME stores or their website. As of yet, no word on if this will cross the pond, or if any US bundles are being planned.
