Pokkén Tournament Announced, Coming to Arcades in Japan

Posted on Tuesday, August 26 @ 09:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
The Pokémon Company has just unveiled Pokkén Tournament, a Poké-centric fighting game from Bandai Namco's Tekken team.

Check out the slick announcement trailer, which features Lucario facing off against Machamp, below.

The game will hit Japanese arcades sometime next year. Sadly, there's no word on whether or not the game will be coming to Wii U, but one would imagine Nintendo would want to have another piece of compelling software for its struggling home console.

Likewise, we still have yet to hear of a Western release. Keep those fingers crossed!
