FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

Pokémon Teaming with Japanese Warlord

Posted on Saturday, January 14 @ 17:44:24 Eastern by Heath_Hindman

And then some guy at Nintendo was all, "The Pokemans need some new spice. How about a crossover?"
And then I was all, "I hope they pick murderous warlord Oda Nobunaga to team up with Pokémon, and put it on the regular DS."

And then Nintendo was all, "Hey I have an idea, how about we combine Pokémon with brutal warlord Oda Nobunaga -- you know, the guy who almost took over Japan but then committed suicide?"

And then a bunch of people were like "That makes such perfect sense, I don't know why we didn't think of it sooner!"

And then Oda Nobunaga was like, "Ha ha! I am the most overused Japanese historical figure of all time! Bitcheeeez!"

From the grave.

Because he's dead.

Here are screenshots and art pieces. They are amazing.

Entitled Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition, or in Japanese, Pokémon + Nobunaga no Yabou, the game is 100% not a joke and set to hit Japan this Spring. Check the official website for a trailer.
