Prepare Yourself, Guardian, Destiny Has Gone Gold

Bungie, the legendary developer behind theHaloseries and the brand-new shared-world shooter franchiseDestiny, has announced that development on its new IP has finally wrapped. That's right, folks,Destinyhas officially gone gold ahead of its release on September 9th.
In aweekly update, the studio made the exciting announcement, also providing a few extra details about the game, including the fact that there will be no weapon trading between players.
"As for swapping irons in the Tower? Nope," Bungie said. "We want you to earn ‘em. You should be able to tell a badass story for every sweet jewel in your arsenal. Once you earn them, the various Guardians under your account will be able to trade them, but weapons belong to the players who acquire them through action and bravery."
Destinylaunches on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PS3. Will you be getting it on day one?
