PS3 Exclusive White Knight Chronicles II Comes with Prequel Free

Posted on Tuesday, August 16 @ 15:04:06 Eastern by

Rated 'T' and developed by LEVEL-5 Inc., who was also responsible for one of my favorite RPGs on PS2, Rogue Galaxy, White Knight Chronicles II is set at retail for $59.99, and as a lucky bonus, all copies will come with its remastered prequel White Knight Chronicles: International Edition absolutely free of charge.

I was lucky enough to see White Knight Chronicles II during E3, as it was tucked in a corner with only one demo station on display, and immediately realized that the game was much faster than its predecessor. It will have players return to the fantastical land of Balandor with protagonist Leonard on a brand new journey and the trademark giant Incorruptus knights available during online multiplayer quests.

As with the original title released in February last year, White Knight Chronicles II will be yet another PS3 exclusive, and both titles together promises to provide over 100 hours of gameplay. Publisher D3Publisher has announced that White Knight Chronicles II has gone gold and will be launching in time for the holiday season on September 13th.
