LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

PS3 Only Does Super Mario Land

Posted on Monday, April 11 @ 05:26:56 Eastern by
So you're a gamer. You love games, you play way too many of them, and you've been playing games since the beginning of time. Hey, I respect that. We've got a lot in common.

Where we differ is most likely the latest trend of including tools so players can make their own levels. Who knows? Maybe you love that stuff. I don't. Still, I have respect for you if you put in the time and effort to create levels everyone else can enjoy.

Like in LittleBigPlanet 2! The tool set in that game is amazing and while I'll never, ever, try to build my own level, I do get a kick out of seeing a classic Mario game created on Sony's user platform.

Is this the hacking Sony is really concerned with? Maybe the LBP community can build their other-game-company dream levels now that the watchdogs are following hackers like Geohot.

Something about me that you should probably know: Super Mario Land is my FAVORITE Mario game. Ever. You would do well to remember this, especially if I ever organize a little scavenger hunt.

The Legend of Zelda and now Super Mario Land? If I ever buy a PS3, I'm getting LBP.

Yeah, my patience for level building runs out after I've spent 5 minutes trying to figure out ever the most basic tools... then I giveup and just play the actual game. Still, I love seeing the end result of the efforts of the super dedicated nerds out there.

"You love games, you play way too many of them..." Isn't that kinda the same as, like, too many CDs? Or too much sex? Can you have too much of such a thing? I just put a stationary bike in front of my tv so my nerdeo games are good for me. :D
