PS3, PC, and Mac Play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Together

Posted on Saturday, August 27 @ 12:30:00 PST by

Looking to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on your couch, but don't want to miss out having fun with your PC friends? Who cares if they look down on you for playing with a pad? Valve has confirmed that cross-platform play will be officially featured on the PC (duh), Mac (OK, yeah you probably should have known that), and PS3 (*GASP*). PS3 players will have the option of using a mouse and keyboard if they so choose. The PlayStation Move will also see support in the PS3 version of the game.

While Valve and company would like to implement Steamworks on the Xbox 360 like it did with the launch of Portal 2 on the PS3, Microsoft has continued to maintain restrictions on their online platform.
