PS4 Outperforming Xbox One 1.5:1 In UK

Posted on Thursday, January 30 @ 05:57:59 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Sony's new gaming platform has a solid lead over Xbox One in the UK, with a current sales ratio of 1.5 PS4s to every 1 Xbox One. This statistic was announced today at a Sony event headed up by PlayStation UK boss Fergal Gara.

Interestingly enough, however, just the opposite is true when looking at current sales of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with Microsoft's last-gen machine outperforming Sony's box at the same rate.

It will be interesting to see how the console war shakes out as we delve deeper into the first full year of this next generation of gaming. I don't know about you, but all of the exciting new titles on the horizon have me giddy with delight.
