RaceNet Introduced For DiRT Showdown

Posted on Thursday, April 19 @ 10:28:12 Eastern by

Codemasters has announced yesterday the introduction of RacerNet, an online interactive community platform for all their racing games, at a San Francisco event for DiRT Showdown.

Through a player's Driver Profile, RaceNet will track accomplishments, transform your stats into animated infographics, compare your achievements to your rivals, participate in community events, and allow you to earn rewards. In particular, that can include extra DLC content for free.

RaceNet will arrive alongside DiRT Showdown's demo in May 1st. Just signing up for will reward players with a RaceNet Livery and $20,000... as in-game cash. Those who access the demo will receive a RaceNet "Founder Status" Award and a Racenet XP boost.
