Fans of bothRed Dead Redemptionand theBioShockseries have plenty of reason rejoice, as Take-Two has made it clear that we haven't seen the last of either of those franchises.
Company CEO Strauss Zelnickdiscussed the future of both beloved game series during theCowen and Company Analyst conference (viaGameSpot) saying:
I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent. It's obvious that GTA is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise, again with the same caveat, orBorderlands, for example, and NBA and others. Are you excited at the prospect of more Red Dead and BioShock? Here's to hoping that Rockstar is already hard at work on another open-world game set in the west, and that 2K Marin is up to the task of following up last year's mind-bending hit,BioShock Infinite.
