FEATURED VOXPOP oblivion437 Update: I was unfortunately not aware of Shamus Young's severe criticism of Fallout 3 available here to link in the original piece and I regret that.  It dovetails rather nicely with what I've written and it's much better executed than my piece.  I strongly recommend anyone...

Retailer Outs Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition For PS4

Posted on Monday, November 18 @ 12:04:33 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

According to a listing on Amazon Italy, Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider, which launched earlier this year on current-gen platforms, will be making its way to PlayStation 4 early in 2014.

It's titled Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and is tagged with a January 24th release date. The description adds that it will include an exclusive art book as well as all of the game's multiplayer downloadable content. It is also listed separately for unspecified "next-gen" platforms, which could very well be Xbox One and Wii U.

Of course, Square Enix has yet to formally announce a next-gen version of Crystal Dynamics' latest, so we'll have to treat this as rumor for the time being. That said, would you be interested in a next-gen version of Lara's origin story? Comment below and let us know.
