Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Robert Bowling Resigns As Call of Duty Creative Strategist; Fans Nuke Him

Posted on Tuesday, March 27 @ 10:02:24 Eastern by

Just like the headline readsRobert Bowling, Call of Duty Creative Strategist, lead at Infinity Ward and employee of Activision, has announced via Twitter that he has resigned from his position.

Bowling, also known as "fourzerotwo" has been the face of Call of Duty, at least in terms of dealing with the community, especially on Twitter. It was only appropriate that he announced his resignation on Twitter to his some 367,000 and growing list of followers.

His followers, unfortunately, are leaving hateful comments and creating paraody videos of Bowling doing embarrassing fake interviews. Here's a couple examples:
@fourzerotwo Is it possible to lag your way through the door so it won’t hit you in the ass? #MW3 #HappyTrails

Yo @fourzerotwo I heard you got fired because one of the requirements for working there was that you had to have felt pussy before. True?
I don't understand why there is so much hate for this guy. He always seemed to respond to fans promptly and appropriately. Wherever he goes next, I wish him luck. If the following video is any indication, he's going to need it too.

next headline: Robert Bowling joins DICE and EA and replaces current lead strategist of Battlefield. "I felt that more and more people were making the move, figured i'd see what the fuss was about."
    and he never went back.

Judging from the interview, he seems like an honest guy.

Is being a Creative Strategist for Call of Duty the easiest job ever? Just make it exactly the same as the previous year.

Maybe he was fired for comig up with an orginal idea?

Maybe they hate him for the super douche move of resigning over twitter WITHOUT telling the company that has paid you tens of millions dollars for doing what you do. What a complete douchebag. Good riddance.
