Rockstar: "Conspiracy Theories" Regarding Grand Theft Auto V Delay Are "All Nonsense"

According to Grand Theft Auto V developer Rockstar Games, there is no super secret reason behind the title's delay to September. 

On the studio's official site, a rep addressed fan feedback, saying, "To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they’re all nonsense—literally the only reason we’ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be."

The post went on to add that the game's cover art will be revealed... eventually. "For those of you asking about the official box art, that will be coming out a bit later as well."

    SHEEPLE! Look at the hands of the characters in the article pic! the one holding the phone goes C, the one in the middle goes X and the one on the right goes I and I. So that makes CXII in roman numerals... or 112, as in 1/12. In one word GTV is supposed to come out in january 12 2014!

    i'm gonna assume people think they're delaying it for release on next gen?

    that would suck.

    but i dont believe it. i have faith in Rockstar. they haven't let me down yet.

    Is this a 'tail wagging the dog' thing? Are they denying the truth of nonexistent rumors to create speculation about those nonexistent rumors on the (valid) assumption that people will create rumors to fill the void?
