Rockstar Wants YOU To Wield The Max Payne 3 Banhammer
Posted on Wednesday, June 13 @ 10:39:08 PST by Keri_HoneaEveryone hates cheaters, right? Now you can do your part to clean up the cheaters in Max Payne 3 the old fashioned way—tell on them.
Rockstar has asked that if any player notices another player using illegal cheats and hacks that they notify Rockstar immediately. They will investigate the matter, and if they find that cheater to be guilty, the cheater will be put in the proverbial corner with other cheaters. All cheaters will be "quarantined from all other players into a 'Cheaters' Pool,' where they'll only be able to play against other cheaters."If a cheater is caught a second time, they will be permanently banned.
Rockstar will also be restructuring their leaderboards to make sure those at the top of the leaderboards have in fact earned their spots.
If you believe someone is cheating in Max Payne 3, send Rockstar an email with details about both the offense and the offender. For more information on how to effectively wield the banhammer, read the following.
