RUMOR AND SPECULATION: Rage DLC Incoming?

Posted on Tuesday, June 19 @ 13:00:55 Eastern by Keri_Honea
Why wait for an official announcement from Bethesda or id about DLC for Rage, when a game ratings board in Europe will do it for them? PEGI (Pan European Game Information) recently listed a Rage game called The Scorchers, which has not been announced nor confirmed by Bethesda.

The Scorchers are supposedly one of the clans in Rage that landed on the cutting room floor. Your guess is as good as ours. We'll just have to wait until Bethesda confirms or denies the truth of the listing.

I would rather have a brand new title of the RAGE brand instead of just DLC.

I agree and I loved Rage to death. Some may have thought it forgettable or generic, but I adored every moment I spent with it. I liked the world, enemy, weapon and vehicle design. It was... an interesting mix of RPG-lite elements and FPS action. If they expanded the game, made it longer, slightly more open and had just a smidge more RPG aspects for a sequel, it'd be amazing.
Plus it had some of the best animation work for bullet impacts/etc that I've seen in awhile. Very intense. Of course... Last of Us at E3 blew all of that out of the water. O.O

Seems the DLC is likely to be more than the game. I just picked it up for $12 and change after tax. I'd say that's a little late lol
