Rumor: Blizzard’s Next WoW Expansion Is Called Warlords of Draenor

Posted on Friday, November 1 @ 14:57:57 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

The folks over at Blizzard have trademarked "Warlords of Draenor," which may very well end up being the title of the studio's next expansion for World of Warcraft.

MMO-Champion discovered the filed trademark, noting that warlordsofdraenor.com was actually registered a month ago. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that Warlords of Draenor is the official title of the next expansion, despite the compelling evidence support such.

Fortunately we've only got a week of waiting left, as BlizzCon 2013 will almost certainly shed light on what is next for Blizzard's insanely popular (and profitable) MMO. As such, keep it locked to GameRevolution next week for all the exciting news that will surely come out of the event.
