RUMOR: Did We Call It?: GTA V To Take Place in Los Angeles
Posted on Tuesday, October 25 @ 17:16:52 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
We guessed that Los Angeles, or as it's called in GTA: San Andreas, Los Santos would be the setting for the latest Grand Theft Auto title from Rockstar Games. Now sources are seemingly confirming that assertion to journalists.
Reports state that Grand Theft Auto V will take place in a fictional version of Los Angeles with the possibility of multiple playable characters leading the action. After Grand Theft Auto IV's release, Rockstar unleashed large-scale DLC packs that shed light on periphery characters caught up in Niko's core-drama.
In The Lost and the Damned players took on the role of Johnny Klebitz and in The Ballad of Gay Tony players controlled Luis Lopez. Will Grand Theft Auto V play out some type of intertwining Crash-esque narative?
Wow, FIVE GTA V articles in one day all sparked by the announcement of a teaser trailer. You guys must want a new GTA real bad. I’m just commenting on the level of nerdgasming going on from one little logo and a date on a website.
@xxmrcyanidexx: If you mean GTA V is better than Max Payne 3, ok I'll buy that. But if mean that GTA V is coming out before Max Payne 3 then you are dreaming. E3 next year GTA V is going to be one the of the hotest must see games there.
This ain't Twitter Tiny! They have the "Reply to this Comment" button for a reason! And yes what I'm saying is that GTA V is/and will be a better game than Max Payne 3, therefore, we get to be more excited for it!
I'm sorry, but have you realized you are on a gaming website called "Game Revolution"? Something that applies the word "revolution", something we usually reserve for political regime changes and sexual movements, and apply it to games. How dare some people get excited for a game that is going to be awesome! How dare they come to a site dedicated to games to talk about how much they love games! Blegh! You kids and your internets!
but will it have a real simulation of Las Angeles's infamous traffic jams? how great would it be. trying to get away, and MASSIVE TRAFFIC JAM!! Suddenly you have to ditch your car and run like mad, but the police have too too.

They have a "Reply to this Comment" button. Gee, I never noticed that before.
Nerdgasming over the announcement of a teaser trailer is pretty pathetic. Even by fanboy standards.
