Rumor Halo, Modern Warfare Next-Gen Collections Coming

Rumors have been circulating the web for quite some time regarding a high-definition remake ofHalo 2in celebration of the game's tenth anniversary later this year. Now, a new report suggests that not only will Xbox One gamers be treated to a remasteredversion of the aforementioned Xbox classic, but also improved versions of all Spartan 117's other adventures as well.

That's right, according toEngadget,Microsoft is planning to releaseHalo: The Master Chief Collection, which bundles together remastered versions ofHalo: Combat Evolved,Halo 2,Halo 3, andHalo 4. Sadly however, it doesn't look likeHalo 3: ODSTorHalo: Reachwill be included in the collection.

And the next-gen porting rumors don't end there, as word has it that Activision is looking to bring theCall of Duty: Modern Warfaretrilogy of titles to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year. According to a post on Reddit, the compilation will launch on November 25th andall three bundled games will run at1080pand60fps.
