Rumor: Just Cause 3 in Development

Posted on Wednesday, October 26 @ 11:47:19 Eastern by

Right now, Just Cause 2 is a budget title that's worth its weight in parachutes and guns and more parachutes. I'm not particularly the kind of gamer that enjoys a serious fragfest of any nature, but Just Cause 2 had me smiling from all of the explosions and wanton killing. It didn't get the best reception, though, from critics and in sales numbers, tettering on the edge of extinction.

Thankfully, according to Xbox World magazine, there's a rumor that Avalanche Studios in already in the works for Just Cause 3, with studio head Christofer Sundberg already stating that he would be "absolutely interested in working with the Just Cause IP again" and that fans "shouldn't be surprised" to find it coming soon, if not in 2012.
