Rumor: Kinect 2 Development Tool Spotted Online

Posted on Friday, August 10 @ 07:52:42 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

While Microsoft has yet to confirm the existence of a Kinect 2 or even a successor to the Xbox 360, it's safe to assume that both are pretty much givens at this point. I mean come on, that little motion tracking sensor has sold boatloads for the company; they'd be insane not to make another one.

To support this belief, an image of the alleged Kinect 2 dev tool has surfaced online, showcasing its ability to disern fingers and clothes. The image first popped up on the Twitter accound of superDaE and the image's description simply reads: "Durango Kinect anyone?"

To that I reply: "No thanks, I'll just take the Durango."

Since Microsoft hasn't made any official reveal, all we can do is speculate at this point, so be sure to sound off in the comments below telling us whether or not you're excited at the prospect of having a more advanced version of the Kinect.
