RUMOR: LEGO Lord Of The Rings On The Way?

Posted on Thursday, May 10 @ 08:20:16 Eastern by Keri_Honea

Looks like another LEGO game has been outed again by toys. Last time it was LEGO Batman 2, and now it's Lord of the Rings. LEGO has sent out sneak peeks at their summer line of LEGO toy sets, and they include LEGO LOTR, which makes sense, as Peter Jackson's The Hobbit releases this December.

However, the toy packaging happens to include logos for both Warner Bros. and TellTale Games, according to MCV

Obviously, none of this is hard core evidence, but it does make you wonder, especially with the LEGO Batman 2 outing. I really hope it's true. Please, please, PLEASE be true.

I want the building sets more than the game.

Ugh. Personally, I think both Lego and Lord of the Rings games were tapped out a long time ago. So it would make perfect sense if they're combining them now.

Ah well. I wish them luck in their endeavor.

Well of course Warner bro's is on it because they own the LOTRO licensing. Also, this might be the actual first LEGO game I'd pay full price for. I was tempted for Harry Potter but said nah.
