GAMING NEWSRumor: Microsoft Partnership With EA To Be Revealed At Xbox 720 UnveilingPosted on Wednesday, February 27 @ 14:03:51 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
![]() Each passing day brings us closer to the inevitable announcement of Microsoft's next-gen console. A new report suggests that Electronic Arts will be in attendance, and an exclusive partnership will be revealed. According to CVG, two separate unnamed sources have told the outlet that EA plans to partner with Microsoft and its new console. The details of this exclusivity deal are unknown, but I'd be willing to bet it is either Battlefield 4-related or tied to Respawn's upcoming title. When Sony announced the PlayStation 4, they brought Activision and Bungie on stage to announce that Destiny would have exclusive content on Sony's platform. Perhaps Microsoft hopes to counter with EA in a similar fashion. We'll just have to wait and see. This is merely rumor right now, as Microsoft and EA have not officially said anything to this effect, but it sure isn't out of the realm of possibility. What sort of exclusive deal do you think EA and Microsoft may have cooked up? Let us know in the comments below. More from the Game Revolution Network Comments
