Rumor: Next Assassin's Creed To Feature Brazil Setting

Posted on Monday, December 10 @ 08:13:11 PST by Alex_Osborn

Those hoping for another game set during the early days of the United States will likely be disappointed, as a new report indicates that the next Assassin's Creedcould very well be set in Brazil.

The managing director of Ubisoft Brazil, Bertrand Chaverot, told Techtudo(via GameSpot) that gamers will be taking a trip down to the South American country of Brazil for at least part of the game. Beyond that tidbit of information,Chaverot didn't have anything else to share.

There is however, a good chance that this all could be one big misunderstanding, as there was a mission in Assassin's Creed IIIthat was set in Brazil. Perhaps something was lost in translation?

Either way, we'd like to hear what you think about this potential setting. Do you like the idea of running across rooftops in Brazil? Let us know in the comments below.
