LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Runic Games Claims Torchlight 2 Four Times The Size Of Torchlight

Posted on Monday, July 23 @ 11:31:56 Eastern by Keri_Honea
Every developer claims that their sequel is bigger and better, but Runic Games has gone as far as to say that Torchlight 2 is four times the size of the original game.

"In terms of scale, Torchlight 2 is close to four times the scale of Torchlight one as far as assets go, and probably close to that as far as playtime," said Travis Baldree, President of Runic Games, on the official Torchlight 2 blog.

To further illustrate his point, Baldree posted a lovely infographic to show exactly how much more gamers can expect from Torchlight 2.

Torchlight 2 is supposed to release sometime this summer for PC (time be running out for summer!), and it will release on Mac shortly thereafter. With all the hate on Diablo III as of late, Torchlight 2 may be just the ticket to cheer jaded gamers up.

Thank goodness for more unique areas. And $20 at launch has been very inspirational to me. If it's at all possible to sell my games at lower than the usual price of new games (whatever that will be when I finally get them developed,) you can bet money I'm going to do it. Can you imagine a AAA game selling for $20 at launch? Units sold = craziness.
